I spent the day today lazing about the house did a little bit of cleaning (piddling) as i call it. After a day of that i sat outside on my porch and listened to the crickets chirping and watching the stars twinkle! I am very proud of my home and the quiet relaxing atmosphere here. Of course the hustle n bustle of the city is still appealing to me but at this point in my life i am taking advantage of both! Work in the city and retire home on days ive nothing to do. Awe the simple pleasures of life. I couldnt think of a better way to end the day then a nice hot bubble bath in my wonderfully clean bathroom. Now im laying back with a good book and thought to share these joys with those of my fellow bloggers. After all, its not every monday that is so very peaceful!
